SigOpt at ICML 2019

The International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) will be taking place on Sunday, June 9 – Saturday, June 15 in Long Beach, California. At ICML, researchers from academia and industry gather to learn, present and publish research. SigOpt has sponsored ICML since 2017 and published research at the conference since 2016. Along with our Academic and Internship Programs, conferences like ICML are a primary way in which SigOpt’s research team continues to invest in and collaborate with the broader machine learning and Bayesian optimization communities.

SigOpt is excited to sponsor this year’s conference. To engage with our team at the event, visit our Expo Demonstration on Sunday, visit Booth 125 all week, attend our recruiting happy hour or drop by our workshops to learn more about our papers that show the results of collaboration with some of our academic partners. If you can’t make the events, look us up on Whova app and we are happy to find time to meet. We look forward to seeing you there!

Meet SigOpt at ICML

Expo Demonstration: Addressing practical barriers to applied learning models
Sunday, June 9th, 2:00PM — 6:30PM @ Room 101
In this demo, SigOpt’s research shares modeling techniques and software products that are the result of addressing some of these real-world barriers to building productive models and scaling the modeling processes that are necessary to productionalize them.

Visit us all week at Booth 125
Have questions or want to learn more about SigOpt? Visit us at booth 125 in the expo hall to meet our team. We are more than happy to talk about our Academic Program, the exciting career opportunities at SigOpt, or how you can try our solution to scale your modeling processes. Schedule a 1:1 with our team to see how SigOpt can help with your modeling needs. And, as always, you can pick up the latest SigOpt swag along the way!

Workshop Papers from the SigOpt Research Team

SigOpt Research frequently collaborates with members of the community at other companies or in academia to develop insights on the use of Bayesian optimization and other statistical methods. Below are examples of papers we will be presenting alongside these collaborators at ICML this year. Stop by these workshops to learn more about these papers or drop by Booth 125 to meet the team and discuss during the week.
